The tour will begin from your selected drop off point, and you’ll be driven to the east coast in a Mercedes-Benz Sedan Car. The first place on your tour will be the Seven Springs, a valley filled with springs and pine trees. It’s an oasis in the summer for inhabitants and tourists alike. The scenery allows visitors to attain a sense of calm while they navigate through the streams, and flowers, and take in the sights of the peacocks and ducks. (Stop Visit Photos)

The Church of St Nectarios is next. It is situated on the way to Achipoli village. There stands a big hollow tree providing a fun experience of going inside a tree. The fountain next to the tree provides relief with its cool water. (Stop Visit Photos)

The tour takes you through the villages of Archipoli and Eleousa and to the historic Byzantine Church of St. Nickolas Fountoukli, built in the 15^th^ century. The frescoes inside are incredibly detailed and beautiful. Some come and perform their worship even to till this day, around the old olive trees and the canopy of nature. (Stop Visit Photos)

The tour takes us through the Pines and Cypress Forests to the Elafos Hotel. Located atop Mount Profitis Elias, the second highest mountain on Rhodes (798 meters / 2600 feet tall), it was built in 1929 during the Italian Era. It is built like traditional Alps Hostels with stone build walls in the basement, and high pitched wooden roofs. You can take in the breath-taking views of the Aegean Sea and take a breather for coffee or some memorable photos. (Stop Visit Photos)

We continue south-west ofthe island to Embona village, the drive up here has beautiful winding roads through forests, along cliff sides, and through grape vineyards. The village is the biggest grape producer on the island, as well as the best wines. You’ll visit a winery for free wine taste of the three well known labels of Rhodes: The White wine, the Red wine, and the Sweet white. Embona village also known for the honey, olives, olive oil, and Souma (Rhodian aperitif like ouzo), herbs and many other homemade local Rhodian products. These are some of the best gifts you can get for your friends back home because they can taste traditional products of Greece that keep well without refrigeration. (Stop Visit Taste Photos)

The medieval castle of Kritinia is next on our list. Built in the sixteenth century by the Knights of St. John Hospitallers, it is located outside the village of Kritinia. It overlooks the bay atop a pine dotted hill and presents a panoramic view of the islands of Chalki, Alimia, Makri, Strongyle, Tragoussa and Symi. (Stop Visit Photos)

After this you can take a break and indulge in some snacks or some lunch (at your own expense). You can try one of the seaside restaurants that serves seafood, Greek cuisine and homemade wines by the shore.

The tour proceeds back through the west coast overlooking the Aegean Sea (scenic) and transports you to the hotel, the ship, or near the city gates of Old Town. If you choose to be dropped off at the latter, you will have to make your own way back to the ship which is docked a quarter of a mile away.
